cometpost is a social media scheduling and cross-posting tool. Connect your accounts once, write a post once, adjust it for each platform, pick a time — and cometpost publishes it for you across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Threads, Facebook Pages and X.
Posting the same thing to six places means six logins, six upload screens and six slightly different sets of rules. cometpost collapses that into a single workflow without pretending the platforms are identical.
Write the caption, attach the video or images, add hashtags and links in one editor. The draft is the single source of truth for every destination.
Override the caption for X's length limit, swap the thumbnail for YouTube, change hashtags for TikTok. Overrides are per-platform and optional — leave them alone and the shared version is used.
Pick one time for everything or a different time per platform. cometpost queues the post and publishes it on schedule — you do not need to be online.
A per-post status log: published, pending, or failed with the reason the platform gave. Failed publishes can be retried without rebuilding the post.
Each platform has its own limits on caption length, file size, aspect ratio and duration. cometpost checks the draft against them up front instead of failing at publish time.
Every connection is a standard OAuth authorisation you grant and can revoke from the platform's own settings at any time. cometpost only ever asks for the permissions it needs to publish what you scheduled.
Authorise cometpost on each platform you want to publish to, using that platform's own login screen. cometpost never sees or stores your platform password.
Upload your media and write your caption once. Choose which connected accounts this post should go to.
Adjust anything that should differ — caption, title, thumbnail, hashtags, privacy setting. Anything you don't override stays as the shared version.
Publish now or set a time. cometpost handles the upload, the platform's processing delay and the retry if a platform is briefly unavailable, then records the result.
Each integration uses the platform's official public API and the permissions the platform grants for content publishing. Availability of any integration depends on that platform's API approval, which is granted by the platform and not by us.
cometpost exposes a public HTTP API and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. That means an AI assistant you already use can draft, schedule and publish through your connected accounts, with your authorisation, instead of handing you text to paste somewhere else.
A REST API covering the same operations as the interface: list connected accounts, create a draft, set per-platform overrides, schedule, check status, cancel. Scoped API keys, so a key can be limited to the accounts and actions you choose.
Point an MCP-capable client — Claude, an IDE assistant, your own agent — at cometpost and it gets typed tools for scheduling and publishing. No scraping, no browser automation, no sharing your platform passwords with a bot.
Agent access is a credential you issue and can revoke. You decide whether an agent can publish immediately or only create drafts that you approve first.
Agent-scheduled posts go through exactly the same official APIs and the same platform permissions as posts you make by hand. Automation is not a way around a platform's terms, and cometpost does not treat it as one.
You make one video and it belongs on TikTok, Shorts and Reels. You would rather spend that hour making the next one.
A handful of accounts across several platforms, a content calendar, and a need to see what actually went out and what failed.
You want publishing as an API call or an MCP tool, not a browser window — and you want it to run on official platform APIs so it does not break or get you banned.
cometpost is being built right now. We would rather tell you that plainly than dress up a work in progress as a launch.
Each platform integration goes live only once that platform has approved our API access. We will say which ones are live when they are, and we will not list one before then.
There is no sign-up form and no mailing list. If you want to be told when cometpost opens, or you have a question about how it works, email us and a person will reply.

No. cometpost requests the permissions needed to identify which account you connected and to publish content you have authored and scheduled. It does not read direct messages, does not export follower lists, and does not collect data beyond what the granted permissions require. This is set out in detail in the privacy policy.
No. Content you upload or compose is used to publish that content to the platforms you chose, and for nothing else. We do not use customer content to train machine-learning models, and we do not sell or license it.
From inside cometpost, or from the platform's own connected-apps settings. Revoking access there immediately stops cometpost from publishing to that account. Instructions for each platform are on the data deletion page.
The integration for that platform stops working until it can be fixed, and we will say so. Platform APIs are outside our control; this is stated plainly in the terms of service rather than buried.
Publishing through a platform's official content-publishing API, with permission the account holder granted, is a supported use of those APIs. What is not allowed is spam, bulk duplicate posting, impersonation and working around rate limits — those are prohibited by cometpost's terms as well as by the platforms.
Not decided yet. When there is a price, it will be published here. We are not taking payment or pre-orders and there is nothing purchasable on this site.
Account data and OAuth tokens are stored encrypted with our hosting and database providers. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time — the data deletion page gives the exact steps and our response time.
